Blood tests and HBSAG tests are done to find out if a person is infected with hepatitis B. If hepatitis B is in the early stages then lgm test is done, and if it is chronic then lgg test is done.


Liver Biopsy is done if the condition of the person's liver is bad.

HBsAg is tested to test for the severity of hepatitis B.

A live function test is performed to find out what effect it has on the liver.

Ultrasound Scan Abdominal sonography is performed to check the condition of the liver.

The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test is performed to determine the load of the virus in the blood.
